Required every 5 years, extinguishers are tested then, if possible, placed back into service.
If an extinguisher is no longer suitable, we provide a full Waste Transfer Note.

Water fire extinguishers have a class A rating and are suitable for fighting fires involving solid combustibles, including wood, paper and textiles.
Foam fire extinguishers have a class A and class B rating, and are suitable on combustible fires (including wood, paper and textiles) and flammable liquid fires.
CO2 fire extinguishers are mainly aimed to be used against electrical fires, but are also class B rated and are therefore suitable for liquid fires.
Dry Powder fire extinguishers have a class A, B, C and D rating, and are suitable on combustible fires, flammable liquid fires, gaseous fires and metal fires.
Wet Chemical fire extinguishers are class F specialist fire extinguishers that are used on fires involving combustible cooking media. They can also be used on class A fires.
